Greetings Fellow Fraters,
We hope this letter finds you safe and well in the midst of all that the current pandemic has thrown at us. We are writing to invite
you to the 2020 TKE Homecoming activities at Hillsdale College. This year’s dates are Friday and Saturday September 11th and 12th.
Homecoming 2020 promises to be a great one and your participation will only contribute to the greatness. This is a Big One for those fraters from ’69-70, ’79-80 and ’89-90. Who’s coming back? C’mon, make the effort to get back for a fun weekend. Who’s a TKE around here?!
Here’s what’s happening…. If you plan on attending please sign up for both the dinner and if you would be so kind as to also pledge a few bucks for the chapter so we can do some things that haven’t been done since they closed the house. Come and be a part of a great reunion ! I know there are good times awaiting for all of us.
Alumni Reunion Parties – 8pm - midnight
‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s @ The Lanes (400 W. Carleton Rd.)
‘90s, ‘00’s, ‘10’s @ Rough Draft (42 Union St.)
10am – Alumni Chapter Breakfast Meeting upstairs in the Dow Center complete with Bloody Mary’s and Screwdrivers. Did I
mention Breakfast? Get that base in place before the Tailgating begins. This event is FREE and attendance is encouraged. We will be
discussing current TKE affairs and how they relate to the College. Show up and let your voice be heard.
12pm – 4pm – TKE Tailgate Party
Come hang out with the TKE brothers before the game and enjoy something off the grill. Burgers and dogs will be served along with
the typical picnic fare. Cold beer, pop and water will be provided too. This is also a FREE event.
4pm – Charger football vs University of Indianapolis
6:30pm – TKE Cookout at the home of Frater Greg Arnold (2291 S. Hillsdale St.). If you’ve attended the last couple of years, you
know how good this is. M&M Smokehouse is back, and they’ll be grilling up a wonderful NY strip steak and smoked pork chop dinner
with all the fixins’. Oh, and there’ll be an open bar. All this for only $25 per person. Did I mention open bar?
We sincerely hope to see you on campus for what promises to be a fun filled weekend. If you can’t make it, please drop us a note
and fill us in on what’s going on in your world. We are also asking all members for a small yearly dues contribution of $20.00 to help
us offset expenses and keep in touch.
Please return your reservation card in the envelope provided. We also have a web site established where you can pay your dues and
dinner fees by credit card. The site is www.iotanutkealumni.org
For the purpose of future TKE communications, please include your email address on all return correspondence. This helps keep our
operating expenses to a minimum.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
