Schedule
Friday 10/11
3pm - Join us for golf at The Hills of Baw Beese Lake, think Hillsdale Country Club. After golf we’ll hang around the club, enjoy some adult beverages and food. When you RSVP for the weekend, please let us know if you’re interested in playing golf. This is a FREE event.
5pm-8pm – Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet – This year’s induction class includes the 2006 women’s volleyball team. Frater John Smith’s (76) daughter, Kittrick, was a valuable member of the team. Smitty and family will be coming for the weekend. This event is in the Searle Center and requires separate registration and payment through the college.
8pm – All School Alumni Reunion Party – Look for the big tent on Hillsdale St across from Broadlawn. Home of the brand-new Phi Sig/Greek Pavilion. Toledo based band Arctic Clam featuring alum Nicole Khoury ’99 will be rockin’ out.
Saturday 10/12
11am – Phi Sig/Greek Pavilion dedication
Something different this year! We ARE NOT having our traditional breakfast meeting at the Dow Center. The college is hosting a
pancake breakfast in the big tent on Hillsdale St from 9-11am prior to the dedication of the new Pavilion. TKE’s are encouraged to attend the dedication, and breakfast too, as we donated money to have our name on a column/pillar.
12pm – 4pm – TKE Tailgate Party
We’re right on College St. between the Alumni Tent and the Fieldhouse. Come hang out with the TKE brothers before the game and enjoy some yummy BBQ served along with all the fixin’s. Bloody marys, cold beer, pop and water will be provided. This is also a FREE event. Bring yearbooks and any TKE memorabilia you may have to share/display.
4pm – Charger football vs Walsh University
7pm – Dinner – Olivia’s Chop House in Jonesville We’ve made reservations for 20 of us. Please let us know if you can make it. Cost is only $30 per person and includes cocktails. Payment required, in advance, with registration.
The College has discontinued the Saturday night tent party. However, there’s still fun stuff to do. Beginning after the game, there’s an All-School party with a tent and music at 110 N. Manning (Spud’s House) and the Phi Sigs will be partying on their lot across from Broadlawn, home of the brand-new Phi Sig/Greek Pavilion. We’ve been invited.
We sincerely hope to see you on campus for what promises to be a fun-filled weekend. If you can’t make it, please drop us a note
and fill us in on what’s going on in your world. We are also asking all members for a small yearly dues contribution of $25.00 to help
us offset expenses and keep in touch.
Please return your reservation card in the envelope provided. We also have a web site established where you can pay your dues and dinner fees by credit card. The site is www.iotanutkealumni.org For the purpose of future TKE communications, please include your email address on all return correspondence. This helps keep our operating expenses to a minimum.
Feel free to contact any one of us using the info below with questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.
